The wine shows a deep ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose is slightly restrained, will benefit from decanting. It reveals nuances of ripe red cherries, a hint of beetroot, some earthiness combined with nuances of currant leaf and tobacco. The palate is juicy and straightforward with elevated acidity, slightly grippy but rather dispersed tannins, moderate fruit concentration. The wine demonstrates nuances of red berries, complicated by a touch of spices and leafy character. A bit short.
