The nose is elegant and offers power, richness (full of finesse), a beautiful finesse, complexity, gourmandize as well as a beautifully fine and very finely tight grain. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, violet and small notes of plum associated with touches of ripe red fruits (red berries…), crushed bigarreau cherry, hints of violet, lily as well as discreet hints of liquorice, toasted and chocolate. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand, beautifully defined, racy and offers a beautiful precision, a racy minerality, a beautiful identity, richness (full of finesse) as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy wild raspberry and small notes of violet plum associated with small touches of blackberry, chocolate, toasted/caramelized, ripe almond as well as very discreet hints of liquorice stick. Tannins are fine, elegant and well-built. There is an imperceptible hint of saline minerality (in the background), Cuben pepper and tobacco on the finish. Beautiful and gourmande persistence.
