The nose is elegant and offers power, dynamism/energy as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/ripe plum and small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of violet, lilac, liquorice stick, dry ground of local forest (the place) as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper (in the background), racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of toasted. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, precise, straight, beautifully racy and offers an acidulous frame as well as energy. On the palate thos wine expresses notes of fleshy black cherry, fleshy violet plum and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed/ripe raspberry, fine hints of liquorice stick, toasted as well as an imperceptible hint of caramelization and rose on the finish/persistence. Tannins are fine and elegant. A very beautiful wine!
