The nose is fruity and offers power, a “frank” side as well as a fine grain. There are notes of fairly ripe strawberries, crushed red berries and more slightly violet associated with touches of rose, bay laurel, plum blossom as well as discreet hints of spices and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, acidity, good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small pulpy / juicy red berries, pulpy / juicy cherry and more slightly bright raspberry associated with touches of purple plum, fine hints of liquorice as well as a hint of zan and bay laurel. Presence of a discreet hint of vanilla in the background. Good length.
