(organic) The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose offers juiciness, density, and concentration. It expresses notes of morello cherry in chocolate, ripe red cherry, raspberry, cranberry syrup, as well as peony, wild rose, grated nutmeg, liquorice, a hint of vanilla, cocoa nibs, fresh hazelnut, and toasted wood, combined with a hint of peppermint. The palate is expressive, juicy, tangy, and fruity. It offers notes of crushed red cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and red currant, combined with floral touches of rose petals and peony, a subtle spice (liquorice, nutmeg), and a gourmet roast (especially on the persistence) – flavors of toasted hazelnut, coffee, and chocolate. The tannins are finely tight and solid. Nice salivating acidity on the persistence, associated with sapidity and chewiness.
