The nose is elegant, delicate and offers creaminess in finesse as well as a fine mellowness. There are notes of crushed red berries, bigarreau cherry and small notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant associated with fine hints of fig, dark chocolate, nutmeg, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is elegant, delicate, juicy, pulpy, gourmande, nicely stretched, very precise and controlled. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright cherry, juicy/bright red berries and small notes of juicy/pulpy blueberry associated with touches of acidulous small fruits, vanilla, toasted, sweet blond tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of sweet spices/toasted in the background. Tannins are mellow, elegant and delicately stretched. A subtle floral/pine and tangy hint on the finish/persistence.
