The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved at first and requires aeration. It then expresses refined and elegant spicy aromas, which do not dominate the fruit, nor the fine floral nuances on the nose. We find notes of ground white pepper, ground cumin, liquorice, a delicate touch of dried vanilla in the background, as well as dried cornflower, dried rose and lily, associated with a touch of dried pine needles, a discreet, but perceptible minerality (rock, graphite), as well as gourmand fruity aromas: morello cherry, dried red cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, dried cranberries, crushed blackcurrant and red plum. The palate is savoury, chiselled and lively, with structured and firm, but fine and powdery tannins. It expresses notes of morello cherry, tart red cherry, crushed raspberry, red plum, fresh strawberry, cranberries and blackcurrant, as well as a fine floral bouquet (dried rose, dried cornflower), herbaceous (dried pepper mint, dried pine needles) and spicy hints (liquorice, white pepper, ground cumin), as well as a racy minerality (rock, graphite). The finish is chiseled, lively and expresses salivating acidity and firm, but fine tannins.
