The wine shows a deep ruby colour. The nose is profound and concentrated, revealing notes of dried and liquored cherries, as well as cinnamon, cloves, a touch of cedar wood and coffee. The palate is juicy, dense and vibrant, the oaky notes are underlaid by nuances of fresh crunchy clack cherries, blackberries and Boysen berries. The tannins are bold but round and well-managed. The finish offers a nice sweetness and gourmandise.
