The nose is elegant, racy and offers a fine richness and power. It reveals notes of plum, blackberry and small notes of very ripe blackcurrant associated with small touches of strawberry as well as very fine touches of tonka bean, graphite and discreet hints of cloves/spices. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse, tension as well as a good definition/guideline. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, very ripe blackcurrant and small notes of ripe/juicy plum associated with fine touches of wild raspberry small berries as well as fine hints of cornflower, chocolate, cloves as well as an imperceptible hint of caramelization/hazelnut. Tannins are elegant and fine. Good persistence on chocolate/toasted almond.
