The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a little spicy side. It reveals notes of small berries of fresh cubeb pepper and notes of blackberry, small fruits, associated with slight hints of cloves. It will benefit from being decanted. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, sweetness, freshness, a beautiful easy to access side, a nice purity of fruit, gourmandise and a certain small delicacy at the same time. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet, and small notes of pulpy/juicy cassis associated with touches of small pulpy/juicy fruits as well as hints of licorice, nutmeg and a discreet toasted hint. It has a toasted/almond finish. Tanins are slightly mellow. Fine chew.
