Reimonenq – Vieilli 9 ans – Rhum Vieux (Guadeloupe)

The nose is powerful, aromatic, slightly tight and offers a very fine richness. It reveals notes of leather, Sichuan pepper and small notes of cedar associated with touches of oak, Zante currants, flowers, rose wood as well as discreet hints of dried lemon, exotic fruits as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine juiciness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, a fine tension, power as well as a very fine richness. On the palate this Rum expresses notes of caramelization/molasse, dried lemon and small notes of dried kumquat associated with fine touches of dried orange, cedar, tobacco as well as discreet hints of vanilla and tonka bean. Good length.
