The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of garrigue / thyme, black olive and cassis associated with hints of blackberry, crushed strawberry / plum as well as a hint of licorice, wood and an imperceptible hint of earth. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers a nice mineral frame, a nice straightness, tension, a nice guideline, gourmandise, a nice juiciness, harmony as well as suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with hints of juicy berry, olive, caramelization as well as a subtle hint of dark chocolate / tonka bean and a discreet hint of tobacco. There is a hint of salinity on the finish. Tannins are well-built.
