The nose is fruity and elegant with some concentration and an elegant, tightly wound grain. There is some depth with notes of boysenberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly roasted cherry combined with a touch of cherry blossom, star anise and tonka bean. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh with minerality. It has a lovely vibrancy with dynamism and notes of fresh juicy cherries, fresh blackberries and more slightly juicy pulpy berries combined with hints of fresh lily, cherry blossom, racy minerality as well as fine hints of toast and nutmeg. There’s freshness in the background with the lovely pulpiness of the fruit. There is energy, drive and gourmandise in this wine.
