Raptor Ridge – Pinot Noir 2017 Barrel Select – Willamette Valley

The nose is fruity, flowery and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of black plum, violet and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of blueberry as well as a subtle hint of strawberry, nutmeg, cardamom and discreet hints of mild tobacco/sweet spices. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame and a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black plum, blueberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of chocolate, toasted/caramelization and very discreet hints of dry almond (in the background). Tannins are supple. Good length.
