Raoul Gautherin & Fils, La Terre de mon Père 2023 – Petit Chablis

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is airy, very fresh and lemony. The first nose expresses notes of grated lemon zest, lime, a touch of green apple pulp as well as tangy pineapple and acacia in the background. The mouth is chiseled, with lightness and fluidity. The attack is reserved, but the mid-palate offers a consistent, even slightly oily texture. It expresses notes of lemon peel, lemon juice, lime, green apple pulp, acacia and a touch of cut grass. The finish expresses a lively acidity and a good bitterness in the background. A simple wine, but pleasant and refreshing.
