Raoul Gautherin & Fils, Chablis 2022

The wine has a pale lemon color. The nose is juicy, fragrant and complex. It offers notes of fresh citrus fruits (yellow lemon, red orange, grapefruit), associated with notes of yellow melon, ripe pineapple, yellow peach, apricot, white flowers (acacia, orange blossom), with a sweet touch of vanilla, roasted pineapple, toasted hazelnut (in the background) and crushed green apple. On the palate, the wine offers fullness and a refined structure. It expresses notes of juicy yellow peach, ripe apricot, fresh lemon, candied lemon zest, white flowers (acacia, apple blossom), a touch of sweet spices (vanilla, nutmeg) and a delicate salinity on the finish. Good length, on the freshness of citrus fruits, green apple, with subtle menthol and saline touches and lively acidity. The finish is savoury and fragrant.
