Ranci 1974 – Rivesaltes

Ranci 1974 – Rivesaltes

Beautiful nose that offers elegance, aromatic complexity as well as a powdery, powerful and concentrated grain. We find notes of rancio, dried strawberry and small notes concentrated black plum associated with touches of green cardamom, small dried fruits, cuttlefish as well as an imperceptible hint of saline, balsamic, almost thyme and camphor. The palate is beautifully built, fruity and offers roundness, suavity as well as a little unctuosity in juiciness and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied black cherry, candied black plum and small notes of candied strawberry associated with touches of kumquat, candied bitter orange as well as fine hints of balsamic and rancio. A subtle hint of pepper. Beautiful energy. Beautiful persistence.
