The nose is fine, a bit discreet and fruity. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of black fruit jelly combined with a touch of cassis bud, spices, black cherry and coffee. The palate is fruity, gourmand, fine, nicely balanced, quite straight and offers tension. In mouth this Porto expresses notes of plum, black cherry and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of blackberry, coffee, licorice sticks, woody touches and spicy touches (especially a hint of pepper and a discreet of hint cardamom). The finish is powerful. A promising wine.
