The nose reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and small notes fleshy black plum associated with fine touches of small wild berries, liquorice, a discreet hint of eucalyptus, raspberry, tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of olive tree and black pepper. The palate is fresh and offers minerality, tension, an acidulous frame as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crunchy/fleshy black berries and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with a touch of black plum, liquorice, chocolate and a fine hint of caramelization. Tannins are very discreetly tight. Good length. A persistence on notes of cocoa and caramelization.
