Rabottini – Per Iniziare, 2015 – Trebbiano d’Abruzzo

Beautiful elegant nose that offers deepness, a certain small richness in delicacy. It reveals notes of pulpy white peach, lychee and small notes of toasted almond associated with slight hints of smoke, saline/ oceanic and discreet hints of hot pine sap as well as a subtle hint of fresh apricot. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a beautiful fat, precision as well as a beautiful iodine/ pearly side in the background. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy tangerine, crushed kumquat and small notes of fresh apricot associated with touches of smoke, blond tobacco as well as slight hints of sweet spices and small yellow fruits. Good length. A subtle hint of clove and pine sap. A subtle tannic hint in the background/on the finish. Beautiful persistence. Freshness.
