The nose is slightly concentrated and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of juicy ripe berries, wild strawberries, crushed redcurrant and slight notes of plum associated with discreet hints of Zan, toasted / caramelized touches and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, suave and offers a good definition, a slight acid frame, a good straightness as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy Quetsche plum, raspberry and wild strawberry combined with small notes of fleshy / juicy redcurrant, juicy blackberry associated with a discreet touch of Zan, violet, spices as well as slight touches of tonka bean and an imperceptible touch of nutmeg on the finish. Tannins are well-built and very slightly chewy. Good length and beautiful persistence.
