The nose is fruity, gourmand, slightly powerful and offers finesse. It reveals notes of blueberry, purple plum and slight notes of wild strawberry, redcurrants combined with a very discreet hint of gray pepper, flowers, orange, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fine, mineral, well-balanced and offers a slight freshness, a slight acid frame, juiciness, a beautiful finesse, straightness, a small freshness (mid-palate) as well as a good definition. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of fleshy blueberry, crushed / cooked cassis and small notes of red berries, Bigarreau cherry associated with discreet touches of raspberry, dark chocolate, spices / dried tobacco, black pepper and a very discreet hint of coffee on the finish. A promising porto but currently to young to drink (2020+).
