(bottled in 2013) The nose reveals slight notes of blackberry, blueberry and flowers (violet, cornflower) associated with a hint of Quetsche plum, a subtle hint of ripe red berries as well as an imperceptible hint of licorice candy and an imperceptible hint of mushroom (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, soft, gourmande and offers unctuosity, a fresh frame as well as a good balance. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of crushed blackberry, blueberry, flowers and hints of ripe raspberry associated with discreet hints of licorice candy, melted chocolate, spices as well as a discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and persisence. There is a slight hint of coffee and cardamom on the persistence.
