The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers precision, energy, tension as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy Bigarreau cherry, pulpy purple plum and small notes of wild red berries associated with touches of liquorice / zan, tobacco, vanilla, saffron as well as a subtle hint of pepper (in the background), cocoa and black olive. Tannins are precise. Good length. Presence of discreet hints of almond on the persistence. (2024+)
