The nose is fruity, well-balanced and offers power, finesse, a fine concentration as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild black berries, cassis and small notes of wild berries (strawberry, berries) associated with fine / slight touches of eucalyptus, a floral touch (brings freshness) and spices / pepper and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well built, precise and offers juiciness, a good definition, gourmandise, an acidulous frame, a small tension as well as a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, ripe / juicy wild black berries and touches of wild strawberry, crunchy red cherry combined with hints of juicy / fleshy blueberry, violet, chocolate, cedar, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of toasted almond and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. Tannins are well-built, precise and a bit firm. Very fine chews on the finish (brings gourmandise).
