The nose is fruity and relatively fine. It reveals notes of blackberry, Quetsche plum jam and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of wild strawberry, liquorice and toasted oak as well as hints of sweet spices/vanilla and a hint of chocolate. The mouth is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, elegant, smooth and offers a beautiful definition, an acid frame as well as a slight juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, cassis and slight notes of raspberry associated with a discreet hint of redcurrant, slight notes of grilled oak, cacao and slight notes of olive tree as well as a discreet hint of coffee and hints of zan. Tannins are (very) slightlty dry. Good length.
