The nose is beautifully built, charming and quite “fleshy”. It reveals notes of cherry kirsch, black currants and walnuts associated with fine notes of blackberry and a touch of strawberry. The palate is fruity, fat, round, ample, supple, complex, quite powerful and well-balanced. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry jam, cherry kirsch, chocolate and blackberry cream associated with touches of licorice, prunes and fresh walnuts. Tannins are ripe. Good length and persistence. A nice Porto wine with a good potential.
