Quinta do Pessegueiro 2014 – Vintage Porto

The nose is fresh, fruity and concentrated. It reveals notes of crushed blueberry, boysenberry and small notes of berries associated with slight touches of cocoa, coffee, spices as well as an imperceptible touch of almond (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, delicate, aerial, gourmand, slightly powerful and offers a slight acid frame (in the background), fat as well as a slight freshness. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of crushed blueberry, boysenberry and small notes of raspberry jam associated with subtle hints of berries, chocolate, coffee as well as a subtle hint of caramelization / nougatine. Tannins are very fine. Good length and good persistence.
