The nose is fresh and offers a certain intensity full of finesse as well as a fine, fresh and airy grain. We find notes of dried apricot, spices/clove and small notes of dried fig associated with touches of smoke, gray pepper as well as fine hints of dried orange zest, potpourri, rancio (in the background) and cigar box. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, an acidulous frame, minerality, accuracy, a slight straightness, a small tension, fat, roundness as well as a small unctuosity. On the palate this Porto wine expresses notes of dried fig, dried orange and small notes of rancio associated with touches of dried lemon/lime as well as hints of marmalade, racy minerality as well as fine hints of tobacco and fresh spices. Lingering on dried citrus fruits and a hint of potpourri/flowers.
