Quinta do Arrobe – Mensagem 2015 – Vinho Regional Tejo

The nose is fruity, well-structured and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of crushed redcurrants, cherry and small notes of raspberries associated with discreet hints of small black berries, laurel, olive treee as well as discreet hints of gray / white pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, (very) slightly tight and offers a good definition, a fine juicy frame, a fine minerality, a good guideline as well as a small dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, crushed redcurrants and small notes of blackberry associated with subtle hints of fleshy blueberry, liquorice, toasted oak, almond as well as an imperceptible touch of cedar and olive. Tannins are well-built and (very) slightly chewy. Good length.
