(bottled in 2016) The nose is fruity, gourmand and aromatic. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry and red cherry associated with slight notes of plum, crushed blueberry as well as subtle hints of almond, cacao, spices and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, fine and offers a slight acid frame, freshness as well as a good structure. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of crushed/ripe wild strawberry, raspberry and slight notes of blueberry associated with a hint of ripe plum, discreet hints of licorice, chocolate, woody hints as well as slight notes of caramelization and coffee. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence.
