(bottled in 2016) The nose is fine, elegant and offers a certain power/richness. It reveals notes of crushed cassis and ripe wild strawberry associated with slight touches of cherry, blackberry as well as a hint of cardamom, cedar wood and a subtle hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, nicely balanced and offers freshness, a slight acid frame, a beautiful definition, fat as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blueberry and slight notes of cassis, wild strawberry associated with a hint of violet, licorice, chocolate and a subtle/imperceptible hint of caramlelization/Bourbon vanilla. Good length. The aftertaste is slightly powerful. A beautiful wine!
