The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a small power/intensity. It reveals notes of dry citrus (orange, lemon), zante currant and small notes of tobacco associated with touches of caramelization, prune, chocolate, a hint of lime zests, gray pepper, flowers as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and cedar. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good acidulous frame, a small tension, a beautiful finesse, precision, an aerial side, roundness as well as a beautiful guideline. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of zante corinthe, prune, caramelized orange and small notes of dried grape associated with touches of chocolate, mild tobacco, candied mirabelle as well as hints of spices and cedar. Tannins are fine and well-built. Beautiful persistence and gourmandize.
