Quinta da Prelada – Douro 4U 2014 – Douro

The nose is aromatic and offers concentration as well as a fine powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis cream associated with slight notes of small berries, discreet hints of crushed red fruits, a hit of zan as well as a discreet hint of tobacco and eucalyptus (very discreet). The palate is fruity, sleek, relatively fine, round, well-balanced and offers fat as well as a slight juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry; plum and slight notes of cassis associated with discreet notes hints of red berries, liquorice and a very discreet hint of black olive. Good length.
