The nose is elegant, fruity, aromatic, complex and offers a beautiful fine grain as well as intensity. There are notes of wild cassis, raspberry and small notes of camphor associated with touches of small red fruits / wild red berries, purple plum, a sense of place as well as hints of Sichuan pepper, incense, discreet hints of nutmeg, sweet spices and a subtle hint of black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers juiciness, a small freshness, minerality, an acidulous frame, tension, complexity as well as a certain richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of small red berries, strawberry associated with touches of violet, juicy / acidulous purple plum, a sense of place, toasted hints, grilled, nutmeg as well as subtle hints of camphor, licorice, lilac, a very discreet hint of chocolate, toasted hazelnut and Sichuan pepper. Tannins are elegant, precise and straight. Good length.
