The nose is structured, racy and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry and slight notes of cassis, garrigue associated with hints of rocky minerality as well as a very discreet hint of redcurrant, cacao, an imperceptible grilled hint and a subtle hint of bell pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful fat and a slight acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed/fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight hints of wild raspberry associated with hints of spices, rocky minerality as well as a hint of garrigue. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There are slight notes of cacao and a discreet hint of coffee on the finish.
