Quinta da Lapa – Nana 2016, Reserva – DO Tejo D.O.C

The nose is fruity, currently a bit tight and offers a small concentration as well as a fine intensity. There are notes of cassis, cassis bud and small notes of raspberry leaf associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, crushed wild plum, fine hints of spices, pepper, eucalyptus as well as a very discreet hint of violet, reduction, cardamom and olive tree. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a acidulous frame, juiciness, minerality, tension, suavity as well as a certain deepness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, small wild black berries and small notes of violet, lilac associated with touches of raspberry, redcurrant as well as discreet hints of cocoa, reduction, eucalyptus, arbutus, very discreet hints of blond tobacco and an imperceptible hint of leather.
