(bottled in 2015) The nose is fruity, powerful, slightly concentrated and offers gourmandise. It reveals notes of griotte and crushed raspberry associated with slight hints of blackberry jelly as well as a discreet hint of licorice and sherry. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, well-balanced and offers a slight minerality, a slight acid frame, richness, deepness, a certain finesse as well as a certain power (but full of balance). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of griotte, red cherry jam and slight notes of crushed raspberry associated with hints of cassis jelly as well as a touch of licorice, dark chocolate, sherry and a discreet hint of coffee. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. Good persistence on touches of mocha, licorice, sherry as well as on a subtle hint of hazelnut. The persistence is quite gourmande.
