The first nose expresses the tertiary aromas of dried tobacco, undergrowth and roasted mushrooms (in the background), which are complemented by a gourmand spicy, jammy, fruity and chocolatey notes, which appears after aeration. We find in particular the aromas of juicy morello cherry, morello cherry in chocolate, strawberry jam, crushed wild blackberry, as well as fresh peppermint, liquorice (with a touch of star anise), nutmeg, toasted hazelnut, with a roasted and lactic touch of coffee with milk, as well as a floral touch of fresh peony. The palate is juicy, fruity, enveloping, and at the same time tangy and chiseled. The tannins are powerful, but have a fine, powdery grain and are enveloped in a juicy and gourmand fruitiness. It expresses the flavors of crushed black plum, fresh morello cherry, cherry in chocolate, crushed raspberry in the background and blackberry, combined with notes of crushed peppermint, menthol, liquorice, nutmeg, as well as with gourmet touches of coffee with milk and dark chocolate. The finish is long and expresses tertiary notes of tobacco and undergrowth, associated with gourmandize of chocolate. The acidity is lively and salivating. Richness, complexity and depth.
