Quinta da Arrobe – Quinto Elemento – Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2013 – Vinho Regional Tejo

The nose is fruity, well-structured and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of raspberry, ripe redcurrants and small notes of strawberry associated with discreet touches of blackberry, spices, discreet toasted touches and an imperceptible touch of black olive. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, well-built and offers tension, a small aerial side, suavity, roundness, fat, a small straightness, a very fine unctuosity, a good structure, a fine acid frame as well as a slight minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrants, blackberry, cherry and small notes of cassis, raspberry associated with fine touches of black olive, discreet touches of eucalyptus / laurel (in the background) as well as hints of chocolate and toasted hints. Tannins are fine and very discreetly chewy. Good length and persistence.
