The nose is fruity and fresh. There are notes of fresh ripe raspberry, Bigarreau cherry and slightly violet combined with mineral and fresh/juicy blackcurrant. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, fine fleshiness, tension and a nice acidic backbone. Nice freshness and acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy raspberry, juicy/pulpy fresh blackcurrant and more lightly juicy/crunchy cherry combined with hints of violet as well as fine ripe almond and a very discreet hint of cardamom (in the background). The tannins are fine and mellow. Nice fresh/sour fruit and a nice salinity in the background/finish.
