The nose is fresh and reveals a certain power/intensity of freshness as well as some toastiness. There are notes of pulpy nectarine, vanilla and a hint of toastiness combined with fine touches of quince, fresh white berries, toastiness/vanilla, fine hints of green apple, honeysuckle as well as a discreet hint of white flowers and a subtle hint of eucalyptus. A delicate touch of aniseed in the background. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, acidity, some fat, a fine power and a fleshy/sour fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, crushed nectarine and, to a lesser extent, lemon, with hints of quenette, lychee and a discreet hint of toast, vanilla, a subtle hint of racy minerality and a very discreet hint of carambola and salinity. Good length. Lovely lemony finish.
