Pussegueiro – Aluzé 2016 – Douro

The nose is slightly tight and very slightly dusty. It reveals fine notes of lemon and fresh apple skin associated with slight touches of papaya as well as an imperceptible hint of olive tree / flowers. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, round and offers a very slight unctuosity, dynamism, an acid frame, a good definition, freshness, a beautyful juiciness as well as gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe apple and ripe lemon associated with a hint of crushed mandarin, passion fruits, que- nette as well as a very discreet hint of pear and flint. Good length.
