The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers power, a fine grain and a good definition. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, very ripe raspberry, small notes of dry rose, dry violet associated with small touches of racy minerality and sense of the place. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine acidulous/juicy frame and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, bigarreau cherry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of laurel/local copse, iris/violet as well as a discreet hint of cuben pepper, underwood and a subtle hint of tonka bean. Good length and persistence.
