Probus – Try Again 2018, Sauvignon Blanc

The nose is fresh, racy and reveals some minerality and a fine smokiness. There are notes of flat peach, nutmeg and a little racy minerality, some crystalline edge combined with hints of physalis, fresh quince and a hint of smoke and fresh almond. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals juiciness, acidity and a certain brightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crisp nectarine, crisp yellow apple and more lightly sour physalis combined with delicate touches of nutmeg, sweet spices and fine almond. A nice crunchiness in the background. A wine with a strong identity!
