The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals a fine power, racy concentration and a fine grain. There are notes of fresh raspberry, fleshy strawberry and more lightly violet combined with hints of graphite, camphor and fine chocolate and toastiness. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, juiciness, freshness, acidity, good/discreet work on the bitter taste and sapidity/salinity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry and more lightly small red berries combined with hints of lily, fresh cherry as well as sappy, fine gravelly/saline, toasty and nutmeg. The tannins are sapid. Good length.
