On the nose fruity, racy, and offers some contentment as well as a fine stretch. It reveals notes of pulpy boysenberry, strawberry and hints of raspberry combined with touches of ripe/pulpy small wild fruits, cardamom, light tobacco, spice, a discreet hint of pepper and a subtle touch of tea. On the palate, fruity with minerality, good definition, sweetness and acidity, juiciness, fine tension, racy power and depth. The wine expresses notes of bright boysenberry, wild strawberry and red fruits associated with hints of violet, fresh purple plum as well as hints of cardamom, graphite, racy/iodine minerality, a subtle hint of toast and tobacco. The tannins are precise, relatively powerful and mellow. Good length.
