The nose is fresh, a little closed for the moment and offers a small power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh raspberry and small notes of small ripe blackberry associated with touches of iris, fresh flowers as well as fine hints of toasted oak and a very fine hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine creaminess, a racy power, a good balance, a small straightness and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, creamy red berriesand small notes of violet associated with touches of pulpy cherry as well as fine hints of racy minerality (almost iodine), toasted, chocolate, a subtle hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of black tea. Tannins are elegant, racy and finely chewy. A good aromatic persistence. An imperceptible hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
