The nose is fruity and well-built, it offers a little power/concentration and good definition. It expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, dense blackcurrant and more lightly – graphite associated with touches of spices as well as a fine hint of violet and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers a tangy frame, juiciness, deliciousness, good definition, tension, precision and a nice little enveloping fatness. We find notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry and more lightly – small, bright red fruits associated with touches of cornflower, violet as well as hints of toasted almond and nutmeg. A fine chew on the finish/persistence, nice freshness and tanginess. The tannins are fine and soft.
