The nose is fresh, fruity with a certain power and a fine infusion side as well as varietal in the background. There is a lovely finesse and intensity of the grain with notes of fresh cherries, violet and more lightly fresh pepper associated with touches of spices. The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity and offers tension, energy, a fresh/acidic frame, suavity, finesse in its grain as well as a little fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, juicy/pulp cassis and small notes of fresh violets, fresh lily, hints of pepper as well as fine hints of small crunchy red berries, chocolate, toasted and with a subtle savory note. There is a lovely freshness and smoothness, a lovely silkiness and minerality. It is a wine with subtlety and sapid persistence. Presence of a hint of black tea, cornflower and torrefaction on the persistence.
